A story I forgot to tell! I, Eddie Cozart, was
on the way to meet Bill and Jackie at the Casino on Sat. morning, June 6th, and I had forgotten that Leonard lived in Oklahoma
City and that was near by. I called his home and his wife, LaVada, answered the phone, I asked for Leonard and she said
he was not there, he was working that morning at the cleaners. I told her I called, to invite him to meet us at the Casino.
She said call him at the cleaners and ask him, so I did. He answered and I told him who I was and why I was calling. His reply
was, hey, I have nothing else to do and will be there at 3pm to meet you guys.
Also Bill Munden had one of our 82nd engineer crest
on his cap and Leonard wanted to look at it. So Bill showed the crest to him and he said WOW that's a neat crest. So Bill
quickley took it off and handed it to Leonard, and you could see a twinkle in Leonard eyes.
